Must for College!
By Sherman909
The Biology for dummies helped significantly during my year of college General Bio for PreMed. Although it does not replace the text book it helps to understand the text book. Lets face it, text books are hard to read. This book helped create a foundation that I could later easily expand on with the text book. It was also much more fun to read. I would read the section in this book first to get an idea on the subject than after I would read the section from the text book. This covered everything in my bio class. This is a must have for any college student in General Biology. It is also great for reviewing before finals!

Not good for refreshing knowledge
By E. Rosenthal
I was going back college and wanted a refresher--this was VERY simple and didn't add to my knowledge. I imagine this would be good for younger readers or first timers in science.
