Refreshing Primer on Coordination Chemistry

I picked up this book on a whim and found myself unable to put it down. It is an excellent and concise primer to coordination chemistry. It is written clearly and simply with numerous illustrations. I've taken classes in general and organic chemistry and this text actually filled a lot of holes and made some familiar concepts more "crystal" clear. For example, it has a nicely written juxtaposition of Molecular Orbital Theory, Crystal Field Theory, and Valence Bond Theory as they apply to coordination compounds; stating their assumptions, limitations, and uses. They emphasize the importance of geometry in inorganic chemistry which is often glossed over in introductory classes. I've borrowed this book, but now I want it for my collection!

I've fallen in love with this book seven years ago, when I've used in Inorganic Chemistry II at the University. Thanks, at the end I can own it! The book conditions were as expected and shipping was faster than expected.
